Cooked for the first time in a while. Last night, hubby made a roasted chicken dinner, so tonight I made it into chicken soup. Not bad for someone who only cooks to save his life. My job at home is usually the washing up, because life sucks when you live with a cook.

I went down this crazy paleo-geography wormhole of trying to reconstruct my home state of 430 million years ago, soley because nobody else has done it yet. Lots of regional and global reconstructions, but none showing the view of the Iapetus Ocean that became my front yard. I've literally been reading academic papers to find the information I need to do this. Because, you know, nothing like a little light reading??

And this is all so that I can make a webpage that has something interesting to see. At least, something interesting for me.
