Just got back from a trip to the states. I collected enough experiences in two weeks time to write a dissertation on reverse culture shocks. However, I am a nice person and will spare everyone my opinions LOL.
I did take my new "We Are Rewind" player on it's maiden voyage and it seems to do the job reasonably well. One thing for certain... if a cassette has any level of wonkiness, the machine doesn't play well with them. The record function is okay... nothing to write home about. It does its job if the cassette doesn't have any workmanship issues. But with a 6 hour flight, it was a wonderful thing. Next up, use it when on the local bus.
Will continue the digital decluttering as I get used to GMT again. If anyone else is doing analog or low-tech or slow/smal web, defintitely let me know. I'd love to see what you're up to.
BTW I have a messages file so that I can tag you (@your_name) and reply.
