Okay so that's a poorly drawn ASCII space capsule.  Sorry, I'm a beginner here!

My nickname in the real world is in fact Skeeter.  I know there's lots of other Skeeters out here, but I'm the first to make it out here to flounder.  Yaaay!

I've been doing a deeper dive lately into the "small web" as an alternative to conventional social media.  First I found Neocities, which I love, and now Gemini, and I'm hoping to make a little home for myself here.

At the moment, I'm liking the early-internet feel to all of this, and I'm also a bit thrilled that the protocol is named for the space program, because my father was involved in the Gemini V recovery.  More on that later.  

Meanwhile, time to think of what I can offer in this space.  Cheers.
